I'm still here I promise!!
So very much has been going on in the world, our communities and our home and so much to process has been a bit overwhelming for this pregnant mamma. We are now 35 weeks and counting down patiently for our new bundle to arrive. Home schooling is back underway full swing and kids are getting back into the rhythm of all that is involved there.
With everything going on I have really taken a lot of time to really concentrate on my family as a group and as individuals. My oldest daughter, my mother and I spent 9 days camping in north Ga. It was so refreshing to get away from all the hustle, bustle and even electricity. We did do a little shopping and I even found a wonderful wood burning stove for us to fix up! I have also started my 2 oldest girls in the American Heritage Girls organization as individuals (there's not a local troop yet, but maybe one day) and our son in a Trail Life USA troop. We're excited to get them in the outdoors with other kids.
As we all navigate this craziness we are facing I am praying for each of my readers, especially those who are hanging with me so loyally. I don't have very many answers and I have a hard time trusting too many sources to pass along for you. I don't want anyone to think I am ignoring any of the major issues but our platform is a place for us to come together in unity around the people that we hold most dear, our children and families. This is a place to try and remember what was normal in our lives before 2020 began and to give our kids something constructive and wholesome to think on and strengthen our families for whatever else this year may throw at us. Remember, no matter what happens we are stronger together with those we love!
With love and hugs,
Heather
