Happy Fall and Halloween everyone!
I know today is a little rainy but I am so happy to have the cooler temperatures coming in! The kids don't care a smidgen that it's a bit nasty outside, they're just too excited to get candy and see their friends to show off their costumes. That's what I remember Halloween as and I'm happy to see them so excited.
Above all be sure to be safe. There are so many entities that go over all the safety tips but the most important thing is to use common sense. A dark costume is hard to see, especially in the rain and be super careful crossing streets.
My personal tip is to collect your Parent Tax! My children know that I get to look through all their candy and pick out a small percentage as a "Tax" for taking them out and about. It sure beats having to explain the reasons I have to check their candy for safety concerns and I get a few treats in the process! 😉😁
