Happy Independence Day!
Praying today finds your family blessed and happy as we celebrate the birth of our country and the freedom we share. As we celebrate please remember a few key tips:
🇺🇲 Fireworks can be a blast, but be responsible. Use them as directed. Keep water or a fire extinguisher close by. Be sure to clean up afterwards. (Did you know sparkler ash can be poisonous to dogs?)
🇺🇲 Keep an eye on the kids, especially around water and grills. Take a couple of pictures and put the phones away. It only takes a split second for the unimaginable to happen. If you don't believe me do a quick search and heed the warning from other parents who have experienced it.
🇺🇲 If you drink, don't drive! And please don't announce police check points. These check points are set up to protect the community. The main people who want to avoid them are the reason they are set up to begin with.
The main goal is to celebrate safely while making memories to last lifetimes! 😍
