Happy belated Mother's Day!
This is a holiday that I cherish! I weathered the battle of infertility for 6 years before God blessed me with my 5 miracles.
I truly believe that this is a time to honor all women because at heart we all "mother" someone or something, regardless if it's a child, fur baby or other loved ones. Be it now, in the past or coming in the future we cannot help ourselves to take care of those we cherish and love. Recognizing the loving heart of a mother- the unending, reckless, invincible love that we harbor for those loved ones can be a difficult task. We are selfless to a fault in most cases and how can we possibly put into words the gratitude to those who helped us along life's journey. With all this in my heart I do pray that your Mother's Day was full of blessings and love and that you were able to take some much needed time for yourself.
I would like to apologize for this greeting coming a day late. I had a good weekend overall but I'll admit that this past week and a half has been difficult. Our family has been plagued with soar throats, runny noses, earaches and fevers- alternating through the 4 oldest kids of course. Thursday our 2 year old ended up with a big ear infection and has to be on antibiotics for the first time in her life. Then my throat flared up Friday night making my Mother's Day weekend more challenging. Even my favorite foods were hard to choke down due to the pain.
